How do I save files away from my email folders?

I have numerous folders with many files in each and would like to move them elsewhere so I can continue to use these folders.

Put Text In A New Email Or Document





click and hold left side of mouse


slide across text


keep mouse in blue area


right click


choose copy


then right click and choose paste in email, text document, microsoft word etc

Create A Text Document


Or Use Microsoft Word





do this by right clicking on desk top in open area on the screen


then choose new


then choose text document


click where it says new document in blue area


then type in a name for it


then to open it double click on it


hold mouse pointer inside the new text document


then right click


choose paste





Saving Pictures Or Text Documents To Hard Drive





Then You Can Send As An Attachment





Save Text Document Or Microsoft Word Etc





right click


choose send to


then choose my documents


make sure you named it so you can find it


to find again


click start at the bottom of the page


then click my documents





Save Pictures





right click picture and choose save as


name it so you can find it


then choose a folder to put it in you will remember


example put a picture in my pictures folder


you can use the drop down box to find another folder to put it in


to find again

then click my pictures





How To Send As An Attachment





compose the email


then click attach - it鈥檚 below Subject for classic mail


for the all new mail it is in tool bar above your message


In the window that opens, click browse to find and select the file or photo you want.


when you've got it, click it, then click open.


click attach files again to inititate the upload of the file.


once the upload is completed, click the continue to message button.


repeat these steps to attach more files.





Send Info To CD Etc





once you save them to my documents or my pictures


go to my documents or my pictures from start button


right click on the one you want


choose send to


choose cd - floppy etc
