Yahoo Email delays to get into my Inbox folder?

I'm using Yahoo Email and notice few emails comes into my inbox in a big delay. Sometimes it is only an hour or few hours but sometimes it is after a day or two. when these emails eventually shows up in my Inbox, they have the original date.


Can you please explain why and how to prevent it?

You are not alone, many are experiencing this problem while Yahoo is upgrading and doing maintenance on their servers. Causing them to go off line. Seems to be affecting some accounts and not others. They have been doing sections at a time.So some are already receiving their delayed mail, and on time mail.
Reply:I think this problem occurs to every users. You cannot prevent it. Its the problem of your email service provider %26amp; network traffic.


Email service provider may have virus checking systems, huge data transaction among a huge number of members, packet loss %26amp; receiving resending acknowledgments etc of email service provider (like yahoo) may cause to occur that problem. With the increase of members this problem will be increased unless email server optimization to handle data are not upgraded.
Reply:well i havent been getting notifications either and sometimes i am not getting them at all,it took over 4 hrs for a reply on 360,so there is a delay all over,i know i have major problems i made mine worse when it froze before its never been right since.so hopefully its resolved soon some are suffering and some are not,
