How can I send a folder and its photos by email as my pics were taken with an 8meg camera?
took some sport photos, have tried resizing them but they then disappear after the dialogue box asks if I want them resizing for email.

In options on the mail page enter block addresses and remove them from the list.

On the File menu, point to New, and then click Folder.
Type a name for the folder.
In the Folder contains list, click Appointment Items.
In the Select where to place the folder list, click Calendar, and then click OK.
On the Outlook Bar, click Contacts, or click another private or public contacts folder that you want to copy information from.

If you are talking a bout folders saved to your computer just take out the floppy disk and put it in your labtop. Your computer might be to old compared to your labtop so might not be able to. Reply:You can try a back up copy of all your info (export) then open your new stuff and import everything in. You can do this many different ways.
Reply:Create a new folder for the contacts you want to export.
On the File menu, point to New, and then click Folder.
Type a name for the folder.
In the Folder contains list, click Appointment Items.
In the Select where to place the folder list, click Calendar, and then click OK.
On the Outlook Bar, click Contacts, or click another private or public contacts folder that you want to copy information from.
To copy the contacts, press and hold down CTRL and drag the contacts you want from the Contacts folder you just clicked to the new contacts folder you just created.
On the File menu, click Import and Export to export the new contacts folder.
Click Export to a file, and then click Next.

If you are talking a bout folders saved to your computer just take out the floppy disk and put it in your labtop. Your computer might be to old compared to your labtop so might not be able to. It depends on the size of the emails...how many attachments there are etc. You can save all the way up to the limit of your account. This could be in one folder, or in all of your folders combined.

Zip the folder into a zip file or some other type of compressed file. This will allow the recipient to extract the entire folder from the single zip file. If you use Windows XP, you can create a zip file out of a folder by right-clicking on the folder, choose Send To and then Compressed (zipped) folder. Then send the zip file (which will look like a folder with a zipper on it) to your recipient and they will have the folder and all files inside. Plus it is a lot smaller and quicker to send than your folder would be.
(You only need Winzip if you don't use Windows XP, but it's still a good program anyhow.)

As far as i have been able to find out - you cannot forward an entire folder.
The ONLY option is accessing it via POP3 - download the messages - and make one email with all the messages as attachment - and send that to the other account. You will not have them separate - but will have them all on the other account.

The ONLY option is accessing it via POP3 - download the messages - and make one email with all the messages as attachment - and send that to the other account. You will not have them separate - but will have them all on the other account.

My Yahoo email inbox folder shows 1 unopened, but none is unopened. How do I fix this?
Yahoo has been having major server issues since at LEAST Jan. 10, seemingly just with particular servers. And what's happening to you (the "phantom" e-mails) is unfortunately one of the many problems that people are having because of them, and Yahoo doesn't seem to be in any particular hurry to solve them. And the problems are not just w/Yahoo Beta or IE7; I and others not using either are having similar problems. But both do have more problems; if you're using Beta, it's still in the testing stage and has a lot of problems, so go back to original Yahoo mail, and the same w/IE7, go back to IE6 until MS irons out all the problems.
I've had to use another acct.provided free by my ISP to send/rcv important e-mails since Jan. 10, and it's been working just fine the whole time. If you don't have another acct.w/another provider besides Yahoo, I'd strongly advise to get one; it makes a good backup in case of problems like this.
Please see my posting from Fri. Jan. 12 under the heading "Anyone having problems of any kind w/Yahoo Mail, PLEASE READ THIS" for more info and on reporting problems to Yahoo.

You can right click on the email folders you want to copy and then select "Save Target As" and then save it in your "Desk Top" or you can select "Add To Favorites" and then go to Favorites and choose to add a shortcut.

You would have to set up a personal "Filter", to re-direct incoming mail (from a designated address), to a separate folder, instead of the inbox.
Mail page%26gt;%26gt;options (top right)%26gt;%26gt;mail options (if available)%26gt;%26gt;scroll to and click on "Filters"---and click "add".
It's pretty much self explanatory, but basically----you enter the exact address you want to re-direct, on the "from header" line----choose a folder, like spam or trash (or make a new one here)----then click "add filter".
This tutorial should answer any questions you have about filters.
