Just send an E-mail from home to your company and make sure you use pull down address menu to address the e- mail. This means your address book will have to have your company's E-mail address in it.

Why did yahoo change BULK email folder name to SPAM? Why does my SPAM not disappear after reporting it?
Before I used to report email as SPAM and then it gets deleted, I would not see it again. Now I report email as SPAM and it goes to my BULK (formerly named) now SPAM email folder and I have to delete it again! What's going on? Why are we having to work twice as hard to remove spam from our emails? We should only have to report and delete it once within the same email.

I like to store email in local folders for archival reasons, but I cannot figure out where Entourage stores them on disk to ensure I can back them up (e.g. occasionally burn them to CD).

when i did this i didn't set it for back-up. We ran all email to be archived in realtime. You'll have to set the policies and also the configurations to the folder your want. We used a completely off system network storage drove to be the archive location. whenever the email is stored in our network email server it gets carbon-copied to the archive folders, the archive are to be set as read and copy privileges only (FOR LEGAL REASONS), if you have to review a file just remotely access a copy and open it form a remote location. Note, that even as a business owner or security technition it is forbidden by law to access someone elses email without written consent. I found out the easy way. An asociate got fined for opening email from there email archives. I suggest you give access right to this archive location or folder you set up to only local access, with only a specific administrator whom has access rights from a specified location. I set my remote to a secured laptop, since it logs only the ip and MAC address, and I secured my networks for specified MAC addresses since ips aren't all static and MAC addresses don't change. I have the enterprise licence so I don't know if your version has that much security. I secure everything of mine. even my ipod is encrypted...don't ask, i am not allowed to explain. But stored email gets tricky, and even get s into legal and ethical issues. I do know we had to get alot of plug-ns and patches to get that thing running like it does.

This morning I accidentaly an important email message in my inbox I deleted it with whole buch of other spam email. I have 160 contacts already existing in Address Book of MS Outlook. I have another list in excel sheet format that has got 900 contacts (email ids). You can create a Group within your Contacts.
Put all your professional contacts in the group, then when you do the Mailmerge select the group.

When are we going to be able to move an open email with the Move to Folder button? When I click on it now, I get the "this feature is coming soon" message. When is soon? It's a real pain to have to close each email, drag it to the folder, open the next email, close it, drag it to it's folder, etc.

If it's a default folder [you didn't set it up; it was there when you got your email] then you cannot delete it.
If it's a created folder, here's how you do it ...
***In Yahoo! Mail Beta***
1. Select the created folder you want to delete by left-clicking on it.
2. Right-click on the highlighted folder name, and select "Delete" to get rid of that folder.

Yahoo is still apparently having some problems at the moment. If you look you will find lots of people cannot send/receive/delete mail at the moment. Apparently it's only in the beta version. First you will have to delete all the email in the folder and then go to your mail and click on the Add-Edit button above your folders and it will give you the option to delete your folders

first you have to export your outlook address book to a CSV file. do that from outlook's file %26gt; export %26gt; address book. next you have to import that to your yahoo address book. from your main yahoo mail page click the address tab. then click import/export in the upper-right of the page (if you can't find it, do a text search for "Import/Export"). the rest is easy.

If you delete an email from your trash folder is there a history somewhere to retreive it?
No! there's no way to retrive it once it's deleted from the trash folder. A bit of advice. DO NOT EVER delete files from that folder. That way you can't delete something by mistake. Yahoo empties that folder (and the Bulk Mail) folder periodically, and those emails take up none of your allowable space. In fact I would check those folders periodically to make sure there isn't something there you don't want deleted.

I work from home and today,I logged on to check my mail and suddenly it looked different. My mail always comes from my main office and displays the business name and the name of the client. Today I received email with no client name and all my folders have been changed to display saved emails with no client names.

I have heard that there are all of these privacy laws governing the right to privacy, but see people exposed all of the time. If an email is REALLY deleted or or the trach can is REALLY emptied, where does it go, and why are people able to go find private information? Very interested....

I don't know exactly where do they go, but the technology definitely exists to retrieve them. I only heard about pedophilia related stuff being looked for - or possibly some other illegal stuff. If you have done nothing illegal, you have no reason to worry. It is unlikely that your average computer user (e.g. your significant other) can find it. It is probably more complicated than that.
Reply:if you watched tv crime shows you would know that they can extract data from a single platter from a broken hard drive. you can overwrite data a thousand times but if they find bytes of data with something bad like porno they can reorganize the randomized bits into the configuration they were in and repair data.

Double check your email settings. If you are using Yahoo Mail Classic, click on Options, Mail Options, General Preferences and go to the Folders/Search Results section. make sure that the box is tickmarked beside "Save your sent messages in the Sent Items folder" then scroll to the bottom and click OK. Sign out of Yahoo Mail then sign in again. Hopefully the next time you send an email, a copy will be kept for you.

Reply:Look through your mail options and see if you told Yahoo not to save a copy of sent emails. In case someone does not respond for a while, it's good to have a copy of the email so you know you did, indeed, email the person.

If you are using Yahoo Mail Classic, click on Options, Mail Options, General Preferences and go to the Folders/Search Results section. make sure that the box is tickmarked beside "Save your sent messages in the Sent Items folder" then scroll to the bottom and click OK. Sign out of Yahoo Mail then sign in again. Hopefully the next time you send an email, a copy will be kept for you.

Reply:Look through your mail options and see if you told Yahoo not to save a copy of sent emails. In case someone does not respond for a while, it's good to have a copy of the email so you know you did, indeed, email the person.

When ever I log on to my msn email I have to keep putting my password in. If I go to a folder if ask for it.?

Its simple. go to yahoo photos either b4 signing or after it, Click on the create new album icon, next there will be a option to upload one by one. and then a page with 4-5 colums line apeears each having a browse icon. Click on the icon and upload the photos from the location u wish.

Reply:It isn't ridiculous - Bulk mail is considered spam, or junk mail. Why would you have a "very important email" in your bulk folder? Messages go to the bulk folder when you don't have the addresses of the sender in your contacts or address book. Once bulk is deleted - it's gone. Period. Put these addresses in your address book and ask your contact to send the "very important message" again. This time, it will go to your inbox where it's much safer.
Reply:Sorry. Deleting spam removes it immediately. It does not go to the trash.

in windows mail (vista) i previously added 2 folders , one for old emails and another for my partners emails(in local folders).

Every time i send or receive an e-mail and take a look at whatever picture may be included or replied with, it saves in a folder in my Yahoo! Photos and i really would like for that to stop. I need specific answers only please. No half answers

They do not count towards your allotted e-mail account storage space. They are not stored on your computer.

That should not be a problem. If you are using Yahoo you need to create the folder and then clikc on option-%26gt; Filters on the main window and set the parameters like the senders address or the subject line of the message to have it send to the designated folder automatically.

Over the years, I have accumalated many emails from different sources and, to keep organized I created FOLDERS for them in Yahoo Mail. Now, I'm changing my Yahoo address and want to send these folders to my new address. How do I do that?

I reviewed the response to my first question,I didn鈥檛 include enough specific information on the email problem.
The link you provided was to download Yahoo Go2 to my phone. I did this already and have GO2 installed. However, for this phone HTC/Cingular 3125 the download site is showing OS Windows Mobile 6, my phone has Windows Mobile 5.
That may be part of the problem as to why push email does not work. My settings are as follows: General: Connection every 30 minutes,Mail Settings: Mail ConnectionON,Message Alert:ON Confirmation:ON,Push email:ON. Note: not ONCE has this program while running in background on Task Manager,
attempted to check for email on it鈥檚 own. In the Bulk folder there is no way to set it so that the emails won't be deleted..There is the choice to have them deleted instantly, keep for 1 week, 2 weeks or a month.. To change how often they are deleted go to the options button on the top right corner of the mail page.. Then go into spam protection.. You are able to change the length in there..

That is a problem. Make sure the folder you want to delete is empty. At the top of the folders box, click on edit, scroll down until you find the folder you want to delete, check the box and look to the right of it for the words"rename and delete", click delete.

Error on email folder page?
If the header is showing, but not the text of the message, it should fix the problem if you clear your browser's cache. Close the mail page, click Start %26gt; Control Panel %26gt; Internet Options (or on Internet Explorer toolbar click Tools %26gt; Internet Options) and delete Cookies, Temporary Internet Files, and History. You might also click Start %26gt; All Programs %26gt; Accessories %26gt; System Tools %26gt; Disk Cleanup %26gt; and run Disk Cleanup.
This is just a work around, but clicking the print option will probably make the text show. You can also probably save as text and then open the file and read your message.

Starting today, I can't access my bulk email folder -- why?
Today when I click on my bulk folder to scan my emails before deleting them, Yahoo states "you have no messages", but the menu bar at the left says I have "135" unread emails. Why did this start happening? Thanks.

Is it possible to save an email to a folder in "My Documents" on my computer from Yahoo email in or out box

Is it possible to save an email to a folder in "My Documents" on my computer from Yahoo email in or out box
Yes. You have 3 options
1. Double click on printable view
2. In the printable view window click on file
3. click on save as
4. In the file window find the My Documents folder and double click on the folder you need
5. Enter the file name in the box on the bottom of the file window and click save.
From the list of e-mails you can right click on the e-mail you want and click on "save target as" and then follow steps 4 and 5 above.
The other option is to highlight the entire e-mail and then copy and paste it into a word file and then save it that way.
Reply:thats not needed because, it would be stores in your temp file in the root dir where you have loaded the OS. copy it from there to my documents.
