Whenever I send an email thru yahoo the email does not go to my sent folder - it is empty.?

I have sent various emails and replys....but it never shows up that I sent it...whats going on?

Double check your email settings. If you are using Yahoo Mail Classic, click on Options, Mail Options, General Preferences and go to the Folders/Search Results section. make sure that the box is tickmarked beside "Save your sent messages in the Sent Items folder" then scroll to the bottom and click OK. Sign out of Yahoo Mail then sign in again. Hopefully the next time you send an email, a copy will be kept for you.

Reply:Look through your mail options and see if you told Yahoo not to save a copy of sent emails. In case someone does not respond for a while, it's good to have a copy of the email so you know you did, indeed, email the person.
Reply:Go into your settings and make sure you have that feature turned on. It's under Mail Options in the newer mail and probably general preferences in Classic.
