Moving Yahoo email folders to a new Yahoo address?

Over the years, I have accumalated many emails from different sources and, to keep organized I created FOLDERS for them in Yahoo Mail. Now, I'm changing my Yahoo address and want to send these folders to my new address. How do I do that?

Moving Yahoo email folders to a new Yahoo address?
If your new address is a Yahoo! one, then here's how:

(1) First, if you are using Yahoo! Mail Classic, please switch to the All-New Mail. Look at this screen shot http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr74/... .

(2) Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page, and select Import Contacts.

(3) Re-enter your password.

(4) In the permissions page, click I Agree.

(5) Verify that you have read the Terms of Service by clicking in the check-box.

(6) Click Start Transfer.

(7) Enter the “old” email sign-in name for the account you are transferring from.

(8) In the pull-down menu, select the webmail domain your old address is from.

Choose from:

Hotmail, AOL, Gmail, Comcast, Yahoo!, Cox, Earthlink, MSN, Netscape, Netzero, Juno, CS, Optonline, and Worldnet.att.net

(9) Enter the email account’s password then Click Next.

(10) Wait a moment while the information is being verified.

(11) Leave a check in the check-boxes beside the information you’d like to transfer to your Yahoo! account. You can transfer Email, Address Book info, and your Calendar info.

☼ If you would like to send a note to all your contacts announcing your new email address, leave a check in the box beside “Send a note…”

☼ If you want to write the note yourself, just click “Click here to personalize...”, and click Next when you’re done.

(12) Click Next to transfer the information to your new Yahoo! account.

☼ You're done!

The “Finished” page confirms the transfer and offers you a quick route back to your Yahoo! Mail account: Take Me To Yahoo! Mail.

◄☼► Please note that it may take as long as 24 hours to complete the transfer. And when it’s done, you’ll get a confirmation email in your Yahoo! Inbox.

☼ If you have another webmail account whose info you’d like to transfer, no problem! Import from as many of the supported providers as you want.
Reply:Yahoo Answers has been unavailable for most of the last two days, presumably their whole system is playing up?
