you just go to the top-left corner of the page. there you will find the "Mail." click on the downward arrow, choose "Folders." Your folders will be listed. Your new created folder contains both "edit" and "delete." just click on the "delete" button, and definitely your problem will be solved.

Backing up email folders on my local computer?
Yahoo offers unlimited storage of emails and attachments, which is great. However many of these documents are very valuable to me, and I would be in serious trouble if I lost them - by a change of Yahoo policy or a Yahoo technical problem. How can I back them up locally?

You can easily make a back up using your outlook express. Open your yahoo account using Outlook express and it will automatically back up all your mails and attachments from that mail address. And hence u will get ur backup locally.
Once u have open ur account using outlook confirm that u have all ur backup so that it comes to ur satisfication.

I have a bunch of work emails that I would like to take out of Yahoo! so they're not comingled. For the real techies, I'd like to have them available to me in my Bizatarge Outlook Web Access (OWA) client if possible, but I definitely want them out of Y! Beta and in some form on my hard drive.

yes you can import your emails to your outlook and have them available to you offline. thats how you store them in ur hard drive.

In the folder panel----above the inbox are the links---{add--edit}. Click on edit and a page opens with all your folders listed, where you can "rename OR delete" them.
With New Mail
You can just right click on the folder and in the drop menu, choose delete.
In either case---the folder(s) needs to be emptied before deleting.

I want to use AOL email service to do that. But when I want to do attach the folder "My Web" It forces me to open the folder and do the documents one by one. This way I will lose the images layout per HTML page and the receiving part must re-commission same?!! Thanks you for your professional advise.
